We are currently working on better methods of recognising Coeliac Disease whilst performing endoscopy (gastroscopy). The video shows MagniView which is a research tool that we are assessing. MagniView magnifies the villi at a level of 136 times which potentially makes recognition of villous atrophy (flat bowel) more feasible. This helps us detect Coeliac Disease in patients who are attending for a gastroscopy.
