Mb,Chb. FRCPath, FRCP Edinburgh and London
David was a Consultant Haematologist at Derby Hospitals from 1974-1982, and then a Consultant Haematologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals from1982-2006.
He has been chairman and president of various Commitees:
- Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the National Clinical Laboratory Accreditation Scheme 1996-1999
- Chairman of the panel of Examiners in Haematology of the Royal College of Pathologists 1999-2004
- President of the Association of Clinical Pathologists 2000-2001
He was invited to become a Training Advisor, Teacher and Lecturer in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Qatar, South Africa and Brazil.
He is author of 66 papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
